Biometric Signature ID, based in Dallas, Texas, is the leading developer of biometric ID verification software solutions using multi-factor authentication (MFA).

Whether it's securing banking transactions, safeguarding healthcare records, gating exams or multiple quizzes, or online purchases, BSI helps organizations to control risk, reduce fraud, manage security and maintain compliance. Unlike other biometrics like fingerprints, BioSig-ID™ gesture biometrics do not require any special hardware.

This revolutionary new software-only biometric called BioSig-ID can be used anywhere, anytime, on any device. Users create a unique biometric password using just a finger or mouse that imposters cannot replicate.

BioSig-ID is being used in 70 countries in the world with nearly 4M uses and comes with a robust audit trail providing an acute forensic tool to help identify online fraud.

BSI was chosen from 180 other company/consortia by the U.S. White House to participate with Microsoft, AT & T, CA, AAMVA and the Virginia DMV to develop a pilot program to reduce online identity fraud. This is a response to the President's executive order in October 2014 to improve security of consumer financial transactions by requiring multi-factor authentication within 18 months. Biometric Signature ID has also been named to the prestigious committee which is developing the new Identity Proving and Verification standards (IDP-V) that will be ANSI (American National Standards Institute) approved. The IDV-V committee is overseen by NASPO (North American Security Products Organization).

Multi-factor authentication goes beyond the ID and password, requiring two of three things to validate your identity: something you know (like a password or PIN), something you have (like a phone or a USB) or something you are (a biometric like your iris, fingerprint, or BioSig-ID's patented gesture biometric which lets you draw your password).

Independent third party testing by I.T. experts the Tolly Group found BioSig-ID blocked 99.97% of 10,000 imposter attempts to log in even when they knew the password. They could not duplicate the speed, angle, direction, height, length or other metrics drawn by the original user. (We offer $500.00 to anyone who can break the password “Mom”.  Thousands have tried, none have been successful. Check this page for details.)

BSI has been awarded two patents from the US Patent & Trademark Office for its revolutionary innovation.

Some of our other recent awards include:

·         Top 20 IT Ed Tech Company by CIO Review from 500 applicants (2014)

·         “New Product Innovation of the Year in North America” by Frost & Sullivan

·         State of Texas' Emerging Technology Fund (ETF) Selection

·         Selected as one of the top 9 emerging players by the Aite Group for supplying “clever, elegant biometric solutions to the financial services authentication ecosystem."

Applications for BioSig-ID include higher education, where use of the gesture biometric ensures the student who enrolled is the student who is actually taking the course, ensuring academic honesty, helping to eliminate fraud in Title IV funds and provide compliance with Section 496 of the re-authorized Education Act and urges that institutions move beyond pins and passwords for verification.

Banking and financial entities are other natural users of BioSig-ID, as well as healthcare portals and anywhere sensitive information is subject to hacking via password and ID exploits.
