An individual draws their "signature" with any characters/shapes/initials using their mouse to build a profile (this is actually a series of data bytes not an image). Writing cursive is not recommended. We have found that characters/shapes/initials are more accurate over time. Initial enrollment takes only a few minutes. An individual is asked to draw their unique"signature" in the box provided. This process is repeated three times to build a profile. An individual is then directed to a second layer of security called Point and Click Technology to complete the enrollment process. A third layer of security called complex security questions is available if an indvidual with disabilities needs this due to enrollment difficulties. An individual's "signature" can have a great deal of variability and can cause a difficult recognition problem especially if comparisons are used using "images" of a "signature". BioSig-ID technology overcomes this by analyzing the individual traits of the "signature" using a complex series of algorithms (x, y, time, direction, speed etc.) In the worst case scenario an individual with high variability may be asked to sign over if they are unable to be authenticated successfully the first time. BioSig-ID technology offers non-repudiation and is absolute proof that a registered user accessed the application or performed the action. BioSig-ID provides the "authentication" that many federal and state authorities are requesting using a simple and verifiable system.
